Someone needs to be held accountable for this 4-year mishap; you can blame congress, Bush, right-wing xenophobes, or the lack of ample time given to overturn a bad economic situation, BUT if I were left-leaning, I would want Obama to explain to me and my party why no budget has been passed, why unemployment is still incredibly high, why women are still getting paid less than men, why he speaks out against war while ordering drone attacks in Pakistan, etc. I’d say the most frustrating thing is that the POTUS has such a strong celebrity persona that it eclipses his colossal shortcomings. In a society that places politicians under such scrutiny, why are you allowing him another chance? Why aren’t you suggesting another candidate? Or at least voting for a man with a better economic plan. There’s a reason Romney and Ryan aren’t spending their time talking about social issues. They promise to wholly dedicate themselves to the economy for the next four years and nothing else. Appreciate the nose to the grindstone mentality, because it offers the pleasant reality that Obama’s hopeful rhetoric has yet to give you.

I mean this post in the nicest way I know how. I want the next four years to restore my faith in my future, and the future of my peers. I always say that social issues can wait; Roe v. Wade still exists, and same-sex marriage is an issue to be decided by the state. I am talking about the Presidency. This is your chance to make an important decision for your future.
